We are the Taiwan Tongzhi (LGBTQ+) Hotline Association, organizer of Taiwan Trans March. We are delighted and deeply moved to stand shoulder to shoulder with our friends at Tokyo Trans March, helping trans voices and issues reach more people.

Taiwan held East Asia’s first trans march in 2019. This year, our theme is “Crossing Borders, Walking Side by Side.” As transphobia and prejudice rise around the world, we must cross not only the limits of the gender binary, but also national and regional borders. Let us connect trans communities across Asia and the world, support one another, gather our strength, and walk together toward a more diverse, welcoming and liberating world.

Hello from the organizing committee of the Chuncheon Queer Culture Festival.

Remarkably, our festival began on the same day as Tokyo Trans March. We held our first festival on November 20, 2021—Transgender Day of Remembrance—and our sixth festival on August 29 this year.

We are a relatively small queer pride event in a regional city of 280,000 people. Living as queer in a small city can require tremendous courage simply to make our existence visible.

Trans people in particular are constantly made to explain and prove their existence in concrete areas of life such as healthcare, employment and housing. That is why we believe the trans march—showing that we exist and live together—is all the more important.

From Chuncheon, we send warm solidarity to Tokyo Trans March.

We are a political organization in South Korea that develops and practices progressive and innovative social movements. Many LGBTQ+ people are members of our organization, and we take part in a wide range of solidarity activities.

The Korea Cyber Sexual Violence Response Center (KCSVRC) is a women’s movement organization focused on gender-based violence in online spaces.

As we confront an online platform industry in which hatred and violence generate profit, we are especially determined to resist the increasingly intense and widespread hatred directed at transgender people online.

Women’s liberation is impossible without transgender liberation. As a women’s movement organization, we will stand together for transgender liberation.

Solidarity for LGBT Human Rights of Korea (HaengSeongIn) is a community that communicates, resists, and builds solidarity together for the dignity and rights of sexual minorities.

The world still tries to erase or push away transgender people. That is why we will speak even more, take to the streets, and declare with strength that we live together in this society.

A trans march is both a march of pride and a place to share what matters with our companions. Carrying that strength, let us stand in solidarity—from the march into everyday life—until we create a world where each of us can live as ourselves!

Congratulations on the 6th Tokyo Trans March. Rainbow Action Korea, a coalition of LGBTQ+ human rights organizations in South Korea, stands in solidarity with Tokyo Trans March.

Since 2018, gatherings commemorating Transgender Day of Remembrance have been held in South Korea. This year the event has been renamed “2026 Trans March” and will be held on a larger and more powerful scale. Like this year’s theme, “Beautiful World,” let us build together—in both South Korea and Japan—a beautiful world where every transgender person can live openly and with pride!
